Are you one of those who has their Head Down?♂️ while using phone or Reading? Do you know your children are following you too into gradually developing a Bad Habit which leads to Pain and ?? Illness!
Most of us spend time looking down for far too many hours. At work on the ?desk, on the? phone or even reading a book. If you see the kids now a days, they also have their head down looking at? iPads,?books, tablets etc!
What is wrong or why it is bad to have this posture?! OK- when your head is in normal posture, its the ideal weight for the spine to handle it but soon the head goes forward, the weight increases around 10 to 20 pounds on the spine which leads to the spine having to change its shape to adjust to that extra weight. Now our organs and systems of the body are designed around each others structure and when anything changes it affects the other. All of the organs and systems work at their best when they are at their right position in the body. If the spine has to adjust to carry that extra weight, it changes the shape of spine in the body, which will affect the position of the organs that sits around the spine! When the position changes, the effectiveness of those organs and systems changes which leads to ?Pain, Inflammation, ?Dis-ease and poor mobility! The shape of spine is very important in keeping us healthy. Imbalance in that shape not only creates aches and pains in the body but also creates organ related illness.
Change the habit by Raising your Hand rather then have your Head down. Tell your kids as many times until the habit gets instilled in them and only by this we can pass on good healthy habit to the next Generation?.
If you are already suffering due to this poor posture habit then at this point its not good to just correct the physical posture to get better and Pain-free as if you dont address the affected organ and structure then it doesnt cure the root cause and after some time you get the pain back! It is necessary to treat everything which has affected and not just outer physical structure!
