On the Earth each organism and object have its own vibratory rate. They have their own unique resonant frequency too.
Sometimes we can become out of tune in either mind, body or spirit and when one organ in the body is out of tune it will affect the whole body and dis-ease can start to take hold.
Sound baths or sound healing therapies are no means a modern phenomenon. Pythagoras, one of the greatest mathematicians and philosophers of all time, call it “Musical medicine”
As the human body is made up of 70% water; this makes it a very good conductor of sound hence through the healing frequencies of sound therapy our bodies can be brought back in tune. They are working at a cellular level to rebalance the physical, emotional and spiritual bodies. It can induce the alpha and theta waves which is where healing really occurs.
Come and feel the deep relaxation and stress relieving effects of a therapeutic Sound Bath. Using Crystal Singing Bowls, Tibetan Singing Bowls and other instrument’s rich harmonic frequencies you will be bathed in sound while you switch off, feeling the stresses and strains of the day melting away as peace and harmony come singing back to you.
What happens during a Sound Bath
During a Sound Bath you are taken on a sonic meditative journey. The combination of Crystal bowls, Himalayan bowls and other percussions known for their vibratory healing frequencies are played around you with love and the highest intent while you lie down comfortably with your eyes closed. You are free to relax and drift off where the sound takes you. Any emotions that comes up on the surface for you during the Sound Bath are just leaving and transmuting to create the harmony in your body so let your body take over to do what it does best when you relax and stay out of its way.

How does sound healing work
Now that we know everything is Energy and has its own vibrating frequency, when we have two vibrating entities next to each other, the stronger vibration will affect the weaker one; eventually, they’ll synchronize. That’s basic physics.
In our ear, there’s the vestibulocochlear nerve, which connects to the vagus nerve and we know that its the major parasympathetic nerve in the body. The parasympathetic nervous system is responsible for rest and repair by reducing stress, lowering blood pressure, and relaxing muscles. It also helps control hormone release, digestion, blood glucose levels, inflammation, heart rate, and blood pressure. There is a little branch of the vagus nerve that goes right to the tympanic membrane, which vibrates in response to sound waves. So that means that every sound that you process through our ears sends that information to the vagus nerve.
Thus, stimulating the blocked or out of tune vagus nerve via the right frequencies could bring your body back to normal.
A 2016 study found that singing bowl meditation helped lower blood pressure, improve breathing and circulation, alleviate aches and pains, and strengthen the immune system. And a recent study on vibroacoustic therapy—when sounds and vibrations are applied directly to the body to penetrate you on a cellular level—found that the practice could be an effective treatment for chronic pain and injury recovery.
Benefits of Sound Bath or Sound Healing
The Sound Healing therapies are non-invasive and one of the main things it does is put the body into the parasympathetic state. In these days and age, we spend lot of time in sympathetic state or we call it fight or flight state, whether that’s from stress or pain, our body is surging with cortisol and inflammatory molecules and that’s not healthy for the body.
Using different sound frequencies through the tools during Sound healing therapies, it can bring us into a parasympathetic state which affects us on an emotional level and a physiological level. It increases antibody production for better immunity and helps decrease cortisol level.
Sound and vibration help facilitate a deep sense of peace, release tension and blocked energy, and balance the energy centers in the body.
